Owca was founded in 2023 out of a need to make better-quality things — simple, well-made and sewn locally.
From the start, we've focused on smaller collections and mindful production rather than volume. We believe it's worth choosing things that last. Things that aren't tied to a season or a passing trend — that simply wear well, year after year.
Our wool pieces are made in Polish workshops, from materials sourced in Poland and Europe. This gives us control over quality and allows us to create things more responsibly — without rushing or overproducing.
We prioritise natural materials like merino wool and alpaca — soft, durable and proven in everyday use. We make clothes for people who like simple, good things and want to choose consciously — without sacrificing comfort or style.

We're Marta and Laurent — together in life and in work. We live in Wrocław, raising our daughter in a Polish-French home.
Marta I've always liked going my own way. Challenges drive me — they keep things interesting.
Back in 2006, I founded one of Poland's first online vintage clothing shops. That's when I truly understood what quality means — things that don't age after one season, but stay with you for years.
Owca appeared in the summer of 2023 — out of a need to return to good, timeless things. I'd had enough of fast fashion, passing trends and clothes that stop mattering after a short time.
I wanted to make things that are well-crafted, timeless and kind to the body. Things chosen consciously.
Laurent We work locally and close to production — we know the places where our pieces are made and have a real say in how they're produced.
Together we look for the best materials and solutions, so that Owca's wool pieces wear well and stay with you for longer.
